Jipay Thao Cover

Jipay Thao cover is a Hospital Cash Cover that guarantees income replacement in case one is admitted to hospital, providing a fixed daily cash payout during periods of hospitalization. Jipay Thao addresses:

• Income disruption — mitigates loss of income during hospitalization, ensuring continuity in meeting essential financial obligations
• Non-medical expenses — offsets non-medical costs, such as travel or accommodation for family members, that can accumulate during prolonged hospital stays
• Mental wellbeing during hospitalization — the guaranteed daily benefit can alleviate anxiety associated with hospitalization and financial uncertainty
• Deductibles and co-payments — provides liquidity to cover out-of-pocket costs required under standard health insurance policies

This is a group based cover. Members of an organization in partnership with Jubilee Health for provision of this service can sign up through their respective organizations, subject to the terms and conditions agreed with the partner organization. Contact your account manager or contact person to join the Group policy.

• Elective surgeries and chronic conditions payable

• Persons aged between 18–65 years
• Maximum joining age 65 years; exit age 70 years

Claims are paid once a patient has been discharged from hospital and the claims process is completed. If a patient is in hospital longer than 10 days, they can start the claim process while still admitted.

Claims will be paid for admissions to:

• Jubilee Health Insurance Hospital Panel
• SHA (Social Health Authority) Accredited Hospitals

Documents required:

• Copy of National ID
• Hospital admission and discharge summary
• Hospital payment receipts

All claims will be paid within 3 business days of receiving full documentation and internal verification. Claims must be reported within 1 week of the event.
